UK BRAND REVIEW: Just Love Food Company

Just Love is a company that makes delicious and hand finished cakes which are allergen friendly. “Our inclusive cakes make absolutely no compromise on deliciousness or decoration. We’re on a mission to bring people together with cake!”

The factory is 100% nut and peanut free. All the cakes are sesame free. The vegan cakes do not have a may contain warning of egg or milk.

All of their cakes are peanut, nut and milk free. There are gluten free cakes and vegan cakes as options too.

We are the UK’s leading inclusive celebration cake maker created by our founder, Mike Woods, after his children were diagnosed with life-threatening nut allergies. Mike found it heartbreaking to see his children unable to share a celebration cake at parties and being left out. He felt compelled to start a company that created the most delicious, hand-finished cakes that just happened to be suitable for those with allergies and other dietary requirements.

How can I buy them?

My favourite part about these cakes are that I can buy them in my local shop. I have always wanted to go into a store and buy a safe cake. As much as I like baking, some times I just want cake without the extra effort. Their stockists include Sainsburys, Waitrose, Tesco and Asda. I have found that I can only get them in the superstores, not in the locals or expresses.

I am obsessed with the celebration cake. The frosting is sensational and it does not taste like a typical gluten free cake!

I like to use the tray bake as a bake sale cake because it is easy to cut up, it is free from nuts, peanuts, egg, and milk (which are major allergens in schools) and they have a recipe card that you can stand next to it so people know whats inside of it!

The cupcakes just a launched (September 2024) and I know they will be a staple for me.
