LONDON REVIEW: Byron Burger Hammersmith
I love Byron burger. It has been my staple restaurant in London for over three years now and it never disappoints. There have been some changes to the menu that it is harder and less safe to eat there but they have never let me down so I don’t plan on not eating there yet.
Byron Burger Hammersmith
What I liked
They have great service
They ask about allergies before they take your order
The food is incredible
They take your allergies very seriously (the manager has to take your order so the up most care is taken - our manager was ROB and he was so lovely and went through everything with me)
There is a lot to offer on the menu (gluten free buns, vegan burgers, chicken burgers, no bun burgers)
The mac & cheese is fire
No sesame on the buns, however there is now a may contain sesame on them has they switched manufacturers so I do not eat the bun no do I eat the sauces but they not for allergy reasons.
What could have been better
There is now a vegan trend on the menu with ‘Beyond meat’ burgers supplying them, and unfortunately they contain peas and mung beans which means I can’t eat them. (Vegans affect me so much but i do love their treats)
Every waiter has a look of panic when I show them the list - I wish they could teach waiters how to remain calm and have a better beside manner.
I want it all.
They didn’t have mac & cheese as they are heading in to refurbishment.
I love eating here and I am never disappointed ( I tend to eat at Byron once a month). The one place I feel safe to eat a burger in London!
