ANAPHYLAXIS WEEK: Sprinkled with Chocolate Carrot cake granola

Anaphylaxis awareness week: DAY THREE

Abbie has been in a recent blog, where she talked about living with invisible conditions (read HERE). It was an amazing blog and I am so fortunate that she felt safe enough to share her story on The Allergy Table. Today, I wanted to show case her amazing recipes. I love her food blog Sprinkled with Chocolate, so I chose to tie in a recipe with Anaphylaxis awareness week. This carrot cake granola did just that! Firstly it is allergy- friendly, it is top-14 free (add gluten-free oats), theres a simple recipe to follow and it is orange! Plus, I was excited to make this as I am a lover of carrot cake (carrot cake donuts).

On her blog she said that we should add in anything extra that we would like, so I added in raisins and, her namesake, Nomo’s dark chocolate at the end. Incredible! Truly amazing granola, one for the books!

Please donate to the Anaphylaxis Campaign through a justgiving page that Eimear set up. Thank you for helping this charity help all of us with Anaphylaxis. DONATE HERE.

CARROT CAKE GRANOLA

All of Abbie’s recipes look divine and if this recipe is anything to go by then I will definitely be making more. She has such a lovely spirit and just wants to provide recipes, information and experiences with allergies to help others!
